Organoids Generation

We tested generation of liver organoids in SIEVEWELL.

The PXB-mouse® is a chimeric mouse model with a highly humanized liver provided by PhoenixBio Co., Ltd. PXB-cells® RF are human hepatocytes freshly isolated from the PXB-mouse®. 

Human HepatiCult™ Organoid Kit (STEMCELL Technologies, Catalog # 100-0386) is complete culture system for establishing, maintaining, and differentiating human liver organoids from fresh or cryopreserved human liver tissue.

Liver organoids have been generated from PXB-cells® RF using Human HepatiCult™ Organoid Kit on Matrigel. This shows Day 9 image.

Single PXB-cells® RF were loaded in SEIVEWELL 20 μm or 50 μm and Matrigel was overlayed on the surface as illustrated. Medium was changed every 3 days.

Liver organoids generated from single cells were appeared.
